BCG was established in 1983 as Retirement Income Services, Inc. in Syracuse, New York. The goal was to provide businesses and individuals with comprehensive services in the areas of Qualified Retirement Plan Consulting & Administration, Investment Advisory Services, Executive Compensation, Estate Planning, and Business Continuation. As we expanded our expertise to include all aspects of Employee Benefit and Human Resources Consulting, we changed our name to Benefit Consulting Group,Inc to better reflect our entire range of services. While we have changed our name, we have not changed our standards of doing business and remain committed to creating innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients.

In 2006 BCG was acquired by Oneida Financial Corporation (ONFC), parent company to Oneida Savings Bank, The State Bank of Chittenango, and Bailey, Haskell & LaLonde. Together we make up the most comprehensive combination of talent and expertise in our region to provide solutions for all of our clients' needs.

BCG is headquartered in a new state of the art facility in North Syracuse, NY and has office locations in Camden, Canastota, Cazenovia, Chittenango, Oneida, Rome, and Long Island, NY.
